Only a short drive from Land’s End, this lovely property is a traditional former farmhouse close to the village of Goldsithney. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the wonders of Cornwall.

This beautiful property is just 2.5 miles from Mounts Bay, where one can relax on the beach or enjoy one of the many cafes or bistros and take in the stunning views across to St Michael’s Mount. To the north lies St Ives, a favourite with artists for generations as well as being a true surfing mecca. To the west lies the village of Mousehole and the beautiful beaches surrounding Sennen Cove. Nearby is the large town of Penzance, perfect for shopping expeditions. Attractions in the area include beaches on the north and south coast, Tate St Ives, Karting, Poldark and Geevor Tin Mines and, for the young at heart, the Flambards and Paradise theme parks.


On entering this cosy and enchanting property you will find yourself in the snug entrance hall area which doubles as a secondary lounge. Here you can sit by the traditional cosy wood burner and maybe read a book or listen to music. Moving into the fresh and inviting lounge/diner you will find a welcoming open fire for you to enjoy whilst maybe watching the TV/DVD or enjoying the view. You will also find a sofa bed in the lounge. Adjoining the lounge is the bright and well-situated dining area, ideal whether you’re sitting down to a big meal or grabbing a snack. Moving into the charming and well-designed kitchen you will find everything you need including electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you will find two spacious and bright bedrooms: one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) and one double. There is also a bathroom, complete with roll-top bath, shower and WC.


Heading outside into the exquisite grounds you are able to enjoy the beautiful garden and perhaps sit back and tuck into a BBQ. There is plenty of off-road parking available.
 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely country farmhouse. Dog friendly which is great for a 3 fur babies, they thoroughly enjoyed their first holiday. Lovely private & secure garden. Many Cornish beaches & towns within 15 minute driving distance, ie- Marazion, Lands End, Penzance, Newlyn & many more. Thoroughly recommend this farmhouse.

Beautiful well equipped cottage, fantastic garden for dogs, spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend to others looking for a holiday cottage where you can take your dogs but of a very clean and high standard. Only drawback although pub nearby, the walk lacks a safe pavement on a very busy narrow lane. So not suitable for walking with dogs.

Lovely property and extremely well equipped. Stayed with 3 dogs and felt totally relaxed. Garden was fantastic for the dogs. Would have been nice to have details of dog walks nearby. Good selection of ideas for days out.
