A cosy cottage positioned in an elevated position, offering great views, close to the delightful village and lovely beach of Combe Martin.

Combe Martin boasts its own traditional harbour, a 17th century inn, and a sheltered sandy bay which offers spectacular views over to the dramatic headlands and beyond, and which reveals, at low tide, large expanses of golden sand. Walkers and nature lovers will be in their element. From here the South West Coast Path offers walks with breathtaking views, and Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away. There are numerous beautiful beaches that are all within a thirty-minute drive, including Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. You could visit nearby Ilfracombe, take a day trip to Lundy Island, or visit The Big Sheep Adventure Park, The Milky Way Amusement Park or Combe Martin Wildlife Park, amongst many others.

This warm and comfortable accommodation adjoins the owners’ home, but privacy is assured. On entering, you will find yourself in the snug but bright lounge, which, with its exposed beams, low ceilings, TV/DVD and beautiful views, is a relaxing and welcoming space to unwind in. Heading into the elegant and stylish kitchen, which is accessed via a step up, you will find everything you may need including electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and microwave. The bathroom can be found on the ground floor but is accessed via a few steps. It is complete with shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs via the steep cottage style stairs, you will find a comfy open-plan double bedroom at the top of the staircase. Beyond this you will find a cosy single bedroom.
Moving outside via the stable door from the kitchen, a few steps lead up to a charming raised patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, which offers beautiful views of the valley below. There’s also an enclosed lawn with small pond. Ample parking is available.

A quirky cottage full of character in a great location with superb views and pubs and shop nearby, and perfect for exploring Devons North coast. A nice touch was a welcome pack of homemade scones with jam and cream along with chocolates and a bottle of wine, but there were so many more thoughtful little touches that made this cottage so special.

A very nice " cottagey " cottage with every you would find in your own home. The welcome pack was first class with scones and cream, milk and wine in the fridge and chocolates in the lounge. The cottage is in an ideal location for visiting the North Devon area with several pub/restaurants within walking distance.

A cute and well-equipped cottage, which is well located for the beaches and has a great view. Be aware that the steep staircase may not be ideal for the very young and elderly. The hosts were impeccable with a thoughtful welcome pack and advice for our trips.
