This picturesque period cottage nestles in an idyllic elevated position with stunning mountain, sea and loch views, offering peace, tranquillity and superb countryside and wildlife.

Located on the wild unspoilt west coast overlooking Loch Inchard the last sea loch on the north west coast, with the charming fishing village of Kinlochbervie 2 miles and Durness 15 miles, making this a fantastic base to explore the areas natural beauty, wonderful sandy beaches and abundance of wildlife. There are numerous attractions and activities close by including sea and loch fishing, Cape Wrath, Smoo Caves, John Lennon Memorial Garden, Handa Island, Sango and Sandwood Bays, Durness Visitors Centre and Ben Stack.

Stepping inside this charming semi-detached accommodation to the utility area with fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Follow on through to the fully equipped kitchen electric double oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and breakfast table and chairs for you to enjoy your morning cupper while taking in the stunning sea views. Continue through to the large sunroom with dining area and seating for you to enjoy your evening meal while you take in fantastic panoramic views. Then you can relax in the lounge in front of the cosy woodburner to watch TV/DVD or read one of many selections of the books provided. There is also a shower room with WC on this level. We loved Gull Cottage. The view from the sun room is incredible whatever the weather. The cottage is so well stocked the only thing you will need is food! We had one dog and there was so much space around the cottage and enclosed run outside. So much to see in the area too, lots of beaches and mountains, and plenty of wildlife which can be seen froRead morem the cottage. The beds are so comfortable and the cottage warm with radiators and a log fire. The utility room is brilliant. Kinlochbervie for food. Hide

Quiet with amazing views from the sun room perfect to just relax and watch the world go by Great base for exploring To get here go via Ullapool better roads and only a little longer in time But this place is beautiful and very well stocked

Absolutely loved staying in gull cottage! Very well equipped and the views were unbelievable. Considering it is a dog friendly property there was no dog hair to be seen and no dog smell. I will definitely be returning

Gull cottage is a lovely property, spacious with fantastic views, positioned to explore the top North West highlands. The cottage is well equipped, with washer, dryer, pots and pans. The cottage was in the most beautiful surroundings with views over green hills and the bay. We spent most of our time in the sunroom (which was always warm and cozy even when it was raining outside) playing board games and watching the scenery when we werent out exploring the surroundings and hill walking. Fantastic location and a spacious cottage which is set up on a hill with a fantastic view Over loch Inchard. Great walks outside the door fantastic for walkers and fisherman with dogs.

The area was very remote which is exactly what we wanted - stunning scenery all around. The cottage is accurately represented in the photos and is comfortable and well appointed.

Our stay was delightful for us and also for Rocky our dog. The views were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the sunroom watching the sunset in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed and we even did laundry which we hadnt planned on as everything was there. The cottage location is idyllic and ideal for walking the coastline or the hills or visiting the numerous endlessly sandy beaches. The option to sit outside with a good table and benches when warm, dry and midge-free or to sit in the conservatory with nice seating and dining space, in each case absorbing the views we came for made the holiday. cottage has fantastic views, dog friendly , lots of room. Very well equipped, great conservatory /sun room. Stairs are a bit tricky but there is a large lounge and kitchen and 3 bathrooms, all with showers. Internet signal good. haven a clue about the t.v as never turned it on as rabbits chasing and jumping over the wall, and cuckoos, and sunsets aRead morend birds and sheep and red deer were much better to watch. Beautiful area when the sun shines. Lovely conservatory. Comfy beds.Clean, except for the rodents droppings in the kitchen cupboard and inside the bowls.The leaking roof in the kitchen was also a shame. Stove needs some repairs too. Plenty towels. Great little comfy and cosy cottage with great views, kitchen very well equipped. Location is remote but great for exploring coastline and surrounding countryside with some stunning views.
