As usual, we arrived to a spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable cottage. For the same price as a few nights in a caravan park we had a week in a spacious home with stunning views towards the hills and within a few minutes drive of amazing forests, rivers, lochs and the sea.

The cottage was beautiful and I had perfect views . The kitchen was really well equipped with all utensils needed there . The beds were really comfortable with really good pillows . The reclining sofas looking out of the patio doors were amazing!

A lovely cottage in a wonderful setting and an easy stroll to Newton Stewart. Ideal for visiting forest, beaches etc. Beautiful walks especially around Loch Trool. The children and dog loved playing in the field in the evenings and the adults enjoyed some much needed chill out time.

Friendly owner, wine and fresh flowers left as a welcome gift. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and fabulous views. Far away enough to be quiet and isolated, but close enough for a ten minute walk into Newton Stewart. Perfect.

Great location, friendly owner. Gated location (not mentioned anywhere) makes for good security. Scenery fantastic, wildlife (rabbits and even a deer right on the doorstep) Would definitely go again.

Flowers, Wine and Milk were waiting for our arrival, very nice touch.... A warm greeting from David and he had the cottage toasty warm for us as the weather wasn't too good outside. Stunning cottage, stunning views and the countryside that is on your doorstep is just gorgeous. Great base for a walking holiday. The cottage isn't in town, so very quieRead moret but only a stones throw away from all the shops, supermarkets and restaurants, best of both worlds. Can't wait to return!!!! Hide
