On a quiet cobbled street, in the heart of the historic Stockbridge, this 1st floor apartment offers a superb central base for an unforgettable city break. Princes Street is a 15 minute walk and there are excellent day/night bus services.  Stockbridge has a unique 'village' atmosphere with an eclectic mix of antique, curio and speciality shopping. There are some lovely restaurants, contemporary coffee shops, smart wine bars and friendly local pubs, many with evening entertainment all within walking distance. For recreation guests can enjoy peaceful riverside walks along the Water of Leith and Inverleith Park offers plenty of green open space, there is also a leisure centre with a swimming pool within walking distance.  If you like the Arts, The National Gallery of Modern Art is well worth a visit and The Royal Botanic Gardens are a beautiful sanctuary from city bustle and are also just a short walk from the apartment. 

As you walk into this first floor apartment which can be accessed via a flight of steps or elevator access.  You will walk from the hall into the open plan kitchen/lounge with small triangular balcony which is a lovely spot to sit out and have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine.  There is a TV, DVD and CD player in the lounge, the room is bright and welcoming.  The kitchen is well equipped it has an electric hob and oven, fridge and microwave.  The double bedroom is off the lounge and the bathroom: has a shower over bath and WC.  There is a small utility room with washer/dryer and space for storage.

Parking is free however it is limited and subject to availability.

Placed in the village like Stockbridge you will find everything you need on your doorstep. Property is warm and comfortable with all of the creature comforts provided.

We loved the apartment in Stockbridge. It was in a great location of Edinburgh, great village atmosphere, close to good restaurants, pubs and shopping for supplies. And only an easy walk into the New and Old towns. Well equipped kitchen and great wi-fi.
