We can highly recommend this chalet - its very comfortable indeed, well equipped and in the most beautiful location looking out over the bay. It was so peaceful and, as we were there in early March, the few other chalets nearby were unoccupied. Theres no light pollution so we had a sky full of stars at night. And some lovely walks.

Having only been vacated a few hours earlier, the place was absolutely immaculate. Can't fault anything about our stay, just a spectacular location. One of the most important things, I think, is a comfy bed, you won't be disappointed here! The view from the chalet is stunning. Just simply the perfect place for a wee holiday hideaway.

Wonderful chalet set in a perfect location. Ideally located for the Assynt area's walking, climbing, beaches, sightseeing and wildlife. As well as being most fortunate with the weather during our stay, we woke every morning to the beautiful loch side view. There were different birds on the loch daily - we saw a red-throated diver, black-throated diRead morever, shag, red breasted merganser, curlew and oystercatcher. We may well return! Hide

The perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The chalet was spotless, clean and tidy upon arrival. Absolutely everything is available, everything has been thought of. Stunning views and great walks starting from the chalet. Last but not least : very kind neighbours. Thoroughly recommend it for all the reasons above.

A really comfortable chalet in a perfect location with wonderful views of the loch and its wildlife. Little extras this year such as the Welcome Pack and the new terrace and chairs were the icing on the cake. Our 8th visit to Macleod Chalet and certainly not our last!

McLeod chalet is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The view from the deck is stunning as is the surrounding area. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is for you. Only problem we had was trying to get somewhere to eat.
