Located in a peaceful oasis on the edge of the Pentland Hills, the lodge stands in a secluded 1 acre garden backing onto meadows. The spectacular 'Falls of Clyde', New Lanark World Heritage Village, horseriding, fishing, cycling, golf and hill-walking are all easily accessible. Day trips are possible to Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, Glasgow, Stirling and The Trossachs. The picturesque and historic market town of Biggar is 4 miles away with shops, pubs and restaurants. Entering this traditional wooden lodge you walk into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with log effect fire, TV, DVD, CD player and PlayStation 3. The kitchen area has a gas hob, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Heading through the hallway you will find three bedrooms, two double bedrooms and 1 twin they all offer homely touches and a place to relax and unwind. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath to sit back and relax in and a shower over the bath. There is a second 'Jack and Jill' style bathroom which is accessed from the two double bedrooms. This has a large shower and WC.
The large decking area and south facing covered veranda with seating which allows guests to enjoy al fresco dining in tranquil scenic surroundings. There is a private hot tub which is charged at £150 per week or £100 for a short break, payable directly to the owner.
