A charming barn conversion retreat situated on a tranquil 140-acre arable farm estate on the outskirts of Hayle. A perfect place for couples or young families to relax and get away from it all

This attractive barn conversions is situated in a tranquil position approached via a private drive 0.25 miles from the main road. The cottage can be found on a working arable farm. The farm nestles in countryside on the outskirts of Hayle with its popular shops, pubs, harbour and restaurants a mere 3 miles away. The golden sands of Hayle provide miles of beach, ideal for bathing and surfing. On the other side of the bay, St Ives has a host of galleries, including the Tate and many restaurants. Also, visit Godrevy with its beach full of rockpools over looked by its curious lighthouse and well known seal haul out. Penzance is a reasonable drive westwards but it’s worth the effort for a day trip down to spend time exploring Praa Sands, Marazion, St Michaels Mount and the fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole, all with spectacular scenery to enjoy on your way. For the family, stop in at the Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in Hayle and Flambards Theme Park, The Minack Theatre and the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek. Locally a golf course, fishing, country skittles and riding stables can be found too, namely the Treemeadow Trout Fishery and BK Fisheries all within a few miles of the accommodation.
On arrival at this lovely holiday property you will see the thoughtfully designed open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner complete with soft-furnishings and tastefully chosen furniture. Retaining many of its original design features like open beams, it has ample comfy seating, a TV/DVD with Freeview, and hi-fi to relax with of an evening after a hard day of holiday exploration. The kitchen provides an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, fridge and a coffee machine – all you need to feel right at home. There’s also a washer/dryer and freezer located in the entrance hall. There are two bedrooms in the property, the first of which has a king size bed, and a TV with Freeview. The other has bunk beds. The bathroom contains a shower over bath and WC.

We arrived to a very clean and welcoming looking property sat in a tranquil spot. This property is one of the best weve stayed at. The owners clearly go out of their way to take care of it and it shows. It was extremely well equipped (unlike a lot of properties weve stayed at) and more like someones home than a holiday rental. It provided a great bRead morease for travelling around Cornwall on day trips and Hayle itself has a lovely beach worth visiting. Hide

Little Riviere is a beautiful cottage and we had a lovely welcome of scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage has all the amenities you could need (washer/dryer/dishwasher/internet, etc), it's nicely decorated and very clean. There is a nice play area for children and lots of space for them to run around in. It's a Read moreshort drive to Lidl or Asda for any essentials. Not far from Carbis Bay (which we'd recommend visiting) and easy enough to get to St Ives etc. Hide
