Lovely cottage. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Enclosed garden really useful for the dog. Location was really good. Quiet neighbourhood, lots of paths and woodland for dog walking, and easy walk into town.

This is a great base for exploring Aviemore and beyond. The cottage has everything you need. Our dog and kids loved it too. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location - easy walk into Aviemore centre (off main roads). Very convenient for access to Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Lovely quiet cul-de-sac. Very private garden. Pleasant patio. Reasonably well stocked and good wifi. Relatively basic and dated in its decor but other factors compensate favourably against this.

House suitable for our needs. Roomy, clean and easily heated on the cooler days. Choice of dog walks straight from the house and only a 20-minute walk into Aviemore town centre. Ample parking and private back yard. We were two adults and one dog staying.

Dell of the Woods is on a quiet estate on the edge of Aviemore. We stayed during a warm week in September. The house was very clean, warm enough and there was lots of hot water. A great base for using if you want good comfort and a peaceful time, walking distance from the town centre and good walking around the area. We enjoyed our holiday but there was the odd niggle such as a number of bulbs had blown and there were no spares, one of which was broken in the light fitting and I cut myself when removing it. The garden could also use some tlc (weeds, loose slabs etc.). The property was fine otherwise but we felt cramped with just 3 adults and our dog so I feel aRead more family of 5 for this property is a stretch given the living room area. Hide

Great location and only a few minutes walk to centre of Aviemore. Ideal for dog owners as back yard is enclosed though maybe not for dogs who like to escape and can jump a 3 ft fence. Nice to have cable TV and house was well equipped though you might want to bring a hair drier.

Great location. Compact but ample space for a family. Smell of wet dog was an issue for us as although we have a dog this something we always worry about when staying in property's with people who may have larger dogs staying.

Great location and accommodation spotless. Some very minor points eg washing tablet box empty, only one very cheap toilet roll and garden could do with some tlc but none of these impacted on the holiday and would defo rebook.

Great location, fresh bathroom (great shower) and generally comfortable space. Wife allergic to something in the house, arriving to a full bin, and general feel of place needing a bit of love were negatives for us.
