Waterfront property situated on the Mount Batten Peninsula, within walking distance of the local beach, and just a short ferry trip across the harbour to Plymouth’s stylish Barbican area

This property enjoys a wonderful location right on the water’s edge, overlooking the harbour and historic city of Plymouth. Of course, there is much to see and do in Plymouth, including the National Maritime Aquarium, the waterfront Hoe, the beautiful art deco Tinside Lido, and the modern shopping centre at Drakes Circus, and all of this is virtually on the door step of the property, just a few minutes away by water taxi across the harbour. The Mount Batten Peninsula itself offers a plenty for visitors to see and do, with the South West Coast Path passing right by the property, a number of pubs within strolling distance, and a multi-sport activity centre within just a few minutes’ walk.

Upon entering the property guests will find the ground-floor bedroom at the end of the hallway, a wonderfully relaxing king-size room with large patio doors leading out to a marina-front terrace. This room also benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. Also on the ground-floor is the utility room which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a separate WC on this floor too. Taking the stairs to the first-floor will bring guests to the lounge/diner, a bright and breezy room the styling of which perfectly complements the sea views which dominate the room. The patio doors can be opened up to enjoy the fantastic views even more or you can sit out on the terrace and watch all that is going on in the harbour. The TV/DVD provides entertainment which can be enjoyed from the comfortable sofa seating, along with a selection of DVD's and games. The kitchen is also located on the first-floor and is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Another staircase brings you to the second-floor, where the remaining two bedrooms are located. One is a tranquil double room with marina views and the other is a twin room. There is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom on this floor, which can be accessed either via the hallway or directly from the double bedroom.

Outside, the property benefits from two waterfront terraces/balcony's with marina views, one is accessed from the ground-floor bedroom and the other from the lounge/diner. Both terraces have outdoor seating and there is one BBQ. There is parking on the private driveway for two cars.

Fantastic location. Short ferry ride to to the Barbican. Good restaurants within walking distance. House in need of an overhaul.

Perfect location for going into Plymouth on the ferry and saving on driving and finding parking which can be nightmare in Plymouth. Also ideal for Bovisand which has a nice little beach.
