Farm cottage situated on the owner’s 600 acre farm, in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, just a few miles from Dartmoor National Park and eight miles from the city of Exeter.

A short drive from the city of Exeter, with its famous Gothic cathedral, fine art museum, and the unique underground passages which wind under the city and can be accessed by guided tour. Dartmoor is also within easy reach of the property, as is Crealy Adventure Park which is an easy fifteen-mile drive away. For those who want to spend some time at the seaside, the vast sandy beach of Dawlish Warren is within a thirty-minute drive, and is a wonderful place to spend a day building sandcastles, swimming, and playing games.  If golf is more your pursuit, the local golf course is only a 5 minute drive away

This cottage forms part of the main farm building on this 600 acre farm. The upside-down layout means that the two bedrooms occupy the ground floor of the property. The first of these is a restful double room, whilst the other is a bunk bedroom. The shower room here has a WC, whilst there is a second WC in a utility room which also houses the washing machine. The spacious kitchen/diner has a patio doors which lead out to the garden, as well as a dining table and an attractive Welsh dresser. It is equipped with everything that guests will need to make themselves feel at home, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a CD player. Several stairs lead from the kitchen/diner to the wonderfully cosy lounge, a relaxing space where guests will find comfortable armchairs, a warming woodburner and a TV/DVD.

Outside, there are enclosed gardens to the front and rear of the property, with a BBQ and garden seating from which guests can enjoy the lovely countryside views. There is ample off-road parking available, as well as secure storage for bicycles.

Visited Medland View on many occasions and have always received a lovely welcome. This year was my 50th birthday and Mr and Mrs Dennis had left a lovely surprise card, balloons and chocs. Bless them. Stayed for ten delightful nights. Will obviously return. This cottage is perfect in every way and lovingly maintained. Awesome!

The cottage was perfect for our family. We have two children ages 3 & 6 and they loved the upside down house. The outside space was big enough for a game of tag rugby, the house had everything we needed for an easy and comfortable stay.

Weve had a wonderful relaxing holiday in this lovely cottage which is set in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very friendly kind and helpful and the cottage is beautifully clean and comfortable and well appointed with a good fitted kitchen and a wonderfully high powered shower.
