This adorable cottage in the heart of picturesque Mousehole offers the ideal base to explore this stunning region.

This delightful three storey cottage is nestled in the centre of the charming fishing village of Mousehole, one of Cornwall's hidden gems. The village's fishing heritage dates back to 1266 and the tightly knitted streets are full of local granite built cottages. Mousehole was also believed to be the home of the last person to speak only the Cornish language and her house is celebrated with a plaque. Perfect for a stroll to a host of pubs, galleries, restaurants and shops, or as a base for touring Cornwall's breath taking landscape, beaches and historic sites. There are also some fantastic walks to be had with the scenic Coastal Path on your doorstep, as well as attractions such as Land's End, Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, St Michael's Mount and numerous beautiful National Trust properties.

Mousehole is also famous for its Christmas lights around the harbour and village, and the switch on is always something to look forward to. This is very famous in West Cornwall and has been a feature of the village for over 50 years.

Arranged over three floors, you’ll find all you need to enjoy your stay. Stepping into the lounge you’ll instantly feel at home. A TV/DVD, iPod docking station and hi-fi offer in-house entertainment. Here you will also find a separate WC. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and plenty of utensils. The top floor with lovely sea views over the rooftops to the sea is where you’ll find the double bedroom with en-suite shower room and second WC.

There are two quay side pay and display car parks close to the cottage and some road side parking on approach to the village.

An immaculate little cottage right in the heart of the little fishing village of Mousehole. A well equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge and a bathroom with shower, plus an extra toilet downstairs. The cottage is laid out on three floors. There is no garden to sit in, but the beautiful harbour is only a minutes walk away. There is an excellent fisRead moreh restaurant and a popular pub. The cottage is located in the centre of Mousehole. Parking was a few minutes away on the harbour and cost 3 per day. There is very little we would do to improve this sweet little cottage, perhaps a bigger screen TV and WIFI but everything was clean and plenty of kitchen equipment was provided. Some have complained about the noisy seagulls but when Read moreyou are in a coastal fishing village, seagulls are part and parcel. Just enjoy them. Hide

Ideal for a couple. Very well appointed and close to everything in Mousehole. We had no problems with parking next to the Harbour Wall for our 5 day stay. Excellent Bus service into Penzance. Seagulls on roof outside bedroom feeding their young - quite a racket!

We had a great stay in this quaint little cottage. It sits in a fantastic location with views out to sea from the bedroom. The cream tea waiting for us was delicious and a lovely touch. There's a fantastic selection of cafes and a pub nearby with some of the freshest and most delicious fish we have ever tasted (try the crab sandwiches!).
