Had a lovely time staying at the Miners. A real sense of grand designs in this upside down 3 story property built into the hillside with feature steel spiral staircase. Stunning view from the top floor open plan lounge/kitchen in the morning. As a smaller group we found it had everything we needed. Located in the very quiet village Carharrack (justRead more 1 shop) with access to plenty of local trails for Cycling and Walking. Ether coast, St Ives, Penzance, Lands end etc are all a short drive away. Hide

Three generations of our family had a lovely time at this spacious and well equipped accommodation. Its upside- down layout gave beautiful views of the countryside from the open plan living area. Its central location meant that places to visit were all within easy reach by car.

Beautiful property in stunning location, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Friendly owner/caretaker (thank you Dave for coming to the rescue when items were accidently left behind!). We were a 3 generation party with dogs and the property catered well for this. Kids & dogs quickly mastered the spiralRead more staircase even if it made us slightly nervous! Hot tub was a welcome addition, especially when we overlooked the lack of a garden. Thank you!! Hide

This was a wonderful holiday property with wonderful views. The hot tub was very welcome for all three generations who stayed for the week. Our only difficulty was transporting our 2 small dogs up and down the spiral staircase for their toilet breaks. If however we had taken this holiday free of our pets, then it would have been even better.

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. It was large, spacious and really well equipped. I'm always a little anxious about booking dog friendly cottages, we've stayed in ones before which haven't smelled great but this property was immaculately clean and odour free! Great house. Wasn't sure whether to give location four or five stars - fifth star would have been for closer to the beach I guess, but this is reflected in the price and overall it's great value.
