The location is in amazingly beautiful countryside and not too far to the coast. Our hosts, Spencer and Gemma are gracious, charming and helpful. Our cottages Orchard and Lynhay were both very comfortable and well equipped.

We stayed in Linhay for a week at beginning of July and it was amazing. So clean comfortable. The grounds were well looked after and it was lovely to walk round the lake and watch the ducklings. Just had a Christmas break and loved every minute. The weather was absolutely horrendous but the cottage was lovely cosy and warm. The dogs also loved the lake to run around. Amazingly comfortable bed and very well appointed bathroom. Would definately recommend this place to anyone that loves peace and quiet and a fab local pub.

Linhay cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our dog. The gated garden is quite small, but plenty of green space straight through the gate, plus the beautiful pond to walk around. Inside was clean and very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower head had a good flow to it, with plenty of hot water. A pleasant location with good access to the coast and Exmoor. Linhay is cosy with a small kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom by comparison is spacious. Lots of steps which didnt bother us but could cause problems for some. Clean and fairly well equipped but beware the cutlery knives (a triumph of design over practicality). In spite of theRead more pleasant setting there are no nice views from Linhay. Hide

Very comfortable cottage in a quiet location. The only small issue that I had is that I am 6' 2" tall and the overhead shower head seems to be 6' 2" above the shower tray. Other than that I enjoyed my week's stay at the cottage.

Linhay is a perfect cottage for exploring Exmoor. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and he enjoyed our holiday as much as we did. We will definitely book this cottage again or probably South Barn next door and come again with friends or family.
