This sympathetically converted former milking parlour offers cosy accommodation in a peaceful location, the perfect base from which to explore the rugged Cornish coastline.

Situated in a central location between Cornwall’s north and south coasts, this property is an ideal base from which to explore the two. Head north and you’ll reach King Arthur’s Tintagel Castle and the popular fishing town of Port Isaac, famed for ITV’s Doc Martin. Head south and you’ll discover numerous coves and fishing villages as well as the Eden Project and Tamar Otter and Wildlife Park.

Inside, the split-level ground floor accommodation features an open plan lounge/diner. A wood burner sits against an exposed stone wall, which adds warmth and character, while French windows open out to the garden, perfect for summer evenings. This is a cosy and comfortable space in which to relax after a long walk while making the most of the TV/DVD available. The kitchen is light and airy with a vaulted ceiling of exposed beams and an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, large fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs, the accommodation includes one king-size and one twin bedroom, both featuring exposed ceiling beams. The large bathroom is located off the lounge and includes a bath, shower and WC.

Outside, the shared enclosed lawn garden features a patio with BBQ. This is a peaceful spot in which to enjoy al fresco meals in the summer while enjoying the sprawling views across the Cornish countryside.

A really high quality conversion of this former dairy that comes with a massive garden. Lovely remote location and fantastic views. Simply stunning! Chris and Mike have created a genuine holiday home. It's super comfortable, spacious and with EVERYTHING you need for your holiday. The garden is just heaven especially for two football mad boys and an energetic lab. None of us wanted to leave! Our only tiny niggle (and nothing to do with the lovely Chris and Mike) is that it was aRead more little further away from the coast than we thought. But that's down to us. Just a delight - for the about the 7th time! Just love the place, and Chris and Mike are lovely owners. Used this visit just to relax, as I know the area well, but the location makes for a great base. The place has always been spotless on arrival, and the many small touches just put the icing on the cake. Hope to be back again next year! :)
