Higher Melrose was everything we could have asked for and ideal for up to a family of four. Ideally placed for visiting all local attractions and more. Tehidy is well within walking distance and offers good sheltered walks for dogs when it is too hot for the beach, with interest for all. We would love to return.

Great for us, with easy access from the A 30 etc. Good walks around the area, and not far from Gwithian beach.

Absolutely wonderful relaxing holiday with our 2 dogs. Walks in the fields every day and just a short 10min drive to Portreath beach. Ideal to visit many coastal places and friendly welcome wherever we went. The holiday cottage was really cozy and couldn't wait to get back after a day out.:)

Location was perfect for our type of holiday, great base to explore North Cornwall. Spacious, clean, private and has a remote feel whilst still being 5 mins drive from a range of restaurants and supermarkets. Comfortable and absolutely the best shower ever.

Cottage very warm, secluded, clean and comfortable, facilities great, close to beaches. Found my bed (double) a bit hard but hubby wasn't of same opinion. Shower roomy (didn't use twin bedroom as only 2 of us went). We didn't venture out much except by car to steal an hour or two on the beaches or at nearby relaxing Tehidy Country park and caf (no Read moredogs allowed) in between the inclement February weather, so can't rate the coastal walk. Some gorgeous beaches and lots to explore. Hide
