Perfect for a family getaway, this superb, spacious barn has been beautifully renovated and lovingly furnished, and is ideally located for exploring all that North Cornwall has to offer.

Located at the end of a narrow country lane, the rural positioning of this property makes it a tranquil and truly idyllic escape, with far reaching countryside views all around. Boscastle is close by, and features a range of amenities to cover anything you may need. The selection of beaches and coves makes the area ideal for families: Crackington Haven, Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and Widemouth Bay are all within easy driving distance, perfect for a day trip with a picnic or to try a spot of surfing. There are lots of local walks, with a footpath easily accessible from the property, and the South West Coast Path not far away. Venture further afield for picturesque Padstow, or surfer’s paradise Newquay.

The majority of rooms are on the ground floor, with only one room upstairs. Stunning from the moment you enter, the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has A-frame beams and oak flooring throughout, creating a light, airy space for you to relax and socialise in. There is a selection of seating in the lounge area, with sofas and armchairs to sink into and watch something on the TV/DVD, read a book, or chat with friends and family while admiring the view, and a wood burner to keep off the chill in the winter months. The dining table comfortably seats six people, with views across the countryside, whilst the contemporary kitchen area has everything you could need during your stay, including a Belfast sink, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, freezer, fridge and microwave. Off the kitchen there is a separate utility building, housing a washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack and shower cubicle. The first of the bedrooms on the ground floor has been lovingly decorated, and is pretty and tranquil with a double bed, whilst the second room has twin single beds. There is also a bathroom, featuring a bath, separate shower and WC. On the first floor in the eaves of the house is the master bedroom, which has exposed A-frame beams, a king-size bed, TV/DVD, and an en-suite shower room with WC.

The outside of this property benefits from an enclosed lawn area, gravelled patio section with garden furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining, and spectacular views all around. There is also a shower head, ideal for rinsing sandy feet after a beach trip, or washing off wetsuits. Ample parking is available.

Amazing place! We had such a wonderful time staying at The Workshop, the place is fantastic - spacious, clean, full of everything you need, beautiful location with amazing outside space. The location is great - secluded but close enough to local villages. We would love to go again!

A fantastic cottage in the most beautiful and peaceful location. The house had everything that we needed and we were very well looked after by the manager of the property. Perfect house for the dogs as well. Highly recommended.

Superb rural location with wonderful panoramic view from the front of the property. The open plan main living space worked really well and was light and airy, beds were really comfortable too. Lovely cottage set in its own dog friendly grounds. Spectacular views when it was not raining and plenty of space for both humans and animals. I would most certainly return here as if you want peace and quiet, with not too far to travel with your dog to friendly beaches then this is the place for you.
