This property sits right on the water’s edge of the estuary where the rivers Torridge and Taw meet before giving way to Atlantic Ocean. All that the pretty village of Appledore has to offer is just a short walk away, including the shops, eateries, and the pretty village quay, from where visitors are able to choose from a number of fun and interesting boat trips, or take the ferry across to the nearby village of Instow, with its beach and yacht club. Just a few miles down-river is the harbour town of Bideford, where independent boutiques, treasure-trove antiques shops, and restaurants line the narrow, cobbled streets. Two miles from Appledore, is the seaside town of Westward Ho!, where visitors will find a large sandy beach, surf academy, and a well-regarded golf club.

This terraced property is accessed directly from the quiet narrow road on which it is situated. The first room that guests will come to is the spacious kitchen/diner, where there is a dining table seating six, beyond which the well-equipped kitchen offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher. French windows from the kitchen area lead out to the property’s waterfront patio, making it easy to take out food and drink to enjoy al fresco meals. One of the property’s bedrooms is located on the ground floor: a super king size zip and link bedroom, which can be made up as a twin on request and has a hairdryer. The bathroom is also on the ground floor, with its shower-over-bath, and WC. The property’s lounge is located on the first-floor, in order to make the most of the impressive estuary views, there is a coal-effect gas fire, as well as a TV, DAB radio, Bluetooth and CD player should guests be able to tear their eyes away from the stunning views. The second bedroom, also located on the first floor, is a relaxing king-size room, which benefits from an en-suite shower and WC and a hairdryer.

Outside, the property boasts a wonderful waterfront patio, where guests will find garden furniture, a BBQ, and a small stone hut which is perfect for storing outdoors equipment.
