The cottage was wonderfully quiet yet very convenient for the M4. Access to the park at all hours through a private gate in the garden was a real bonus.

Great cottage in a wonderful location. Private access to Margam Country Park is invaluable and the cottage is ideally situated for accessing South Wales including the Gower, the Glamorgan heritage Coast and the museum of Wales.

We stayed at Ivy Cottage at the end of April. The Cottage and location were perfect, we brought the dog who loved walks in the park, especially early morning and last thing at night when we had the park to ourselves. We will definitely return.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay especially if you love wildlife and photography. So many walks around the park we only left the park once during our stay. The cottage is so quiet and peaceful , the best cottage we have ever stayed in. I will definitely go again.

Welcome pack very disappointing, try providing bread, milk, bottle of local wine or cider, local jam or honey, and butter. Very warm and cosy, very clean generally (check the plug in upstairs bathroom has been sorted and plug in the bath otherwise don't risk having a bath). Wonderful location, very atmospheric for chrismas. Beautiful area.

This is just a beautiful place to stay, steeped in history, access to the whole of Margam Park. You can park right outside, the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are to a very high standard. The lounge furniture was a little small to relax on but the beds were lovely
