Located just 2 miles from the renowned Sennen Cove and Gwenver Beach, this property is ideal for surfing enthusiasts. Footpaths from the barn will take you on treks to Gwenver where dogs are allowed all year round and you can join the fantastic South West coastal path. Be sure to check the listings of the Minack open-air theatre before you visit for memorable and unrivalled views out to sea. Your nearest pubs, shops and restaurants are only 2 miles away at Sennen, while great days out for all ages can be found at the Paradise Wildlife Sanctuary, St Michaels Mount and Flambards Theme Park. 

Inside, the upside-down style accommodation provides the very best views from the reception rooms. On the first floor the open-plan kitchen/diner and sitting room is an impressive space with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams and trusses, wooden flooring, a full-length feature window and spectacular sea views. At one end is the kitchen area, where you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while a handy external utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. A pine farmhouse dining table to seat six sits in the centre of the room while the sitting area beyond is cosy and inviting with leather sofas and a TV/DVD with Freeview. Downstairs there are three bedrooms, one king-size double with TV and en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom and one further double with sea views. The bedrooms also share a modern family bathroom with an overhead shower.

External stone steps lead down to an enclosed patio area, which gives way to a lawn. This is a peaceful spot to relax with a drink or enjoy a summer BBQ while taking in the rural and sea views.
 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Fabulous location, near to coastal path ideal for walking with dogs. Plenty of dog friendly beaches close by. Beds really comfy and kitchen well equipped. Location makes it easy to visit other areas of southern Cornwall, with not too long to drive. Roosters Roost is a beautiful holiday cottage, this is the second time I have stayed at the property. Kathryn the housekeeper keeps it spotless, the owners are lovely, parking for 3 cars outside, close to the beach and the best nights sleep in the last year... I can only say thank you to all for making it so special... A good location to explore the coast around the lands end area. Cottage owners/cleaner were helpful when needed and it was a comfy place to stay. The cottage isnt as isolated as depicted, but the neighbours are quiet and friendly. In bad weather the tv/WiFi signal can be very poor.

The cottage is an upside down style with adequate room for 6 , it includes two bathrooms and a fair amount of storage for clothes. There are two other small rental properties close by and a farmhouse.It is close to Lands End Airport but there is little in the way of noise, generally a very quiet location. The access lane is shared with a campsite aRead morelthough this did not prove to be a problem over the two week stay. The sea is 1.1/2 miles away across footpaths.
