We felt as though we were in the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted but we're only a short drive from Usk and Newport. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing break. We made full use of the log burner and hot tub and enjoyed every minute of our holiday

Peace, quiet and tranquility...what a wonderful break! The cottage was immaculately clean and well-equipped. I loved relaxing in the hot tub and coming back into the cosy wood burner. I have already recommended it to my friends and family.

We stayed for a few days over New Year. The cottage is at the end of a track in a peaceful location but it was dull and misty while we were there so we couldn't enjoy the views much, but it is winter after all. We agree with other comments about the local area and the cottage in general, and the hot tub really was excellent; it was lovely and warm Read moreand sparkling clean. There's no phone signal although 4G kicks in if you walk just up the track, so this is ideal if you want peace & quiet. Hide

The cottage was in a beautiful location. A largely comfortable cottage in a good location that was ideal for touring south-east Wales and the Wye valley. It was lovely to have the hot tub to return to every day for a soak. The cottage was warm and bright, which is not true for many other country cottages we have stayed in, and the furniture was comfortable too.

Lovely quiet, secluded location. A good base to explore the surrounding area by car.
