The cottage is in a seemingly remote location, very quiet and no passing traffic. Good for walks, 15 mins to the beach which is rocky. However in less than 10 mins you can drive to a major shopping centre, also to Bideford town centre and Westward Ho! Cottage was in a quiet spot about 2 miles from main A road. Half a mile walk through gorgeous fields brought you to the coastal path. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. Bonus was an outlet village 5-minutes drive away where there was also Asda, Aldi, Lidl, McDonald's, Domino's, Costa, Starbucks, BrRead moreewer's Fayre and cheap fuel. Hide

This cottage was well positioned for walking the South West Coast path. It was immaculately clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was a peaceful rural location but with access to the bus route. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, Mary.
