This is a small ground floor apartment on a main road into York with associated traffic noise. Clean tidy well equipped on bus route or easy walking distance of the City Centre.

The ground floor apartment was very well appointed with allocated offroad parking alongside.A choice of several buses from a stop nearby took us into York so we rarely needed to use the car.A perfect location for access to the city , the racecourse , Goddards (NT) across the road and the Fox and Roman on the doorstep.

The availability of one bus or another every few minutes, and the proximity of bus stops, made York so accessible. And this bright, peaceful little apartment was well-based for going further afield by car. Senior bus passes and National Trust membership were richly used. In one week: six NT properties, one just up the road; a ride on the North YorkRead more Moors steam train; the National Railway Museum; a taste of the breath-taking Dales' scenery; services in York Minster and Ripon Cathedral. You will need to take toilet roll, do not get any spare rolls, in terms of warmth and comfort it was very good no issues at all. Location it is about 2 miles from city centre on a really good bus route, there is a pub on the corner but you could not hear any noise. There is quite a lot of damp on the walls but does not smell, the drain outside is bRead morelocked and fills the path with dirty water. The property looks like it is subsiding big cracks on the walls. Overall we had a nice stay. Hide
