We loved our time at the cottage. The owners make you feel very welcome and are very helpful without being too intrusive. Ideal with a dog as there is an enclosed court yard. The hot tub was great and the cottage had everything we needed at a great price. Location is good we would have just like a pub in closer walking distance. Very beautiful and well equipped cottage welcomed with a bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so as our labaldor . Village is pretty and quiet. We met some friendly people and had lovely country walks with the dog. Plenty to do around the local area. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy, spotlessly clean and well-equipped cottage. Great central location to explore the Somerset coastline and also places like Cheddar Gorge and Clarks Village. Very friendly and helpful owners.

The old stables had everything we needed. Located in a quiet village. Ideal location for holiday exploring. Owners made us feel very welcome and were not intrusive. Wine and cakes delicious. Came away feeling very relaxed and rested.

Pleasant stay in peaceful surroundings. Secure sunny courtyard, ideal if you have a dog. Enjoyed the welcome gift of wine and cakes. Local pub and restaurant only 15 minute walk away but up a very steep narrow road.

The Old Stables is in a quiet hamlet surrounded by farmland. Its a very cosy cottage with lots of homely touches such as cushions, blankets & rugs. The kitchen is well laid out & we enjoyed cooking & eating there. The nearest pub is on the main road which was a 20 minute stroll uphill & a 13 minute walk back but we preferred the longer 2 & a half mRead moreile walk to the ring o bells at Moorlinch. Very peaceful & quiet. The owners live next to the cottage & they were very welcoming. Great! Hide
