Gardenstown is the largest of three fishing village on this stretch of coastline enjoying spectacular rugged coastal scenery, headland and bays that have been the setting for a number of television programmes and a haven for artists. Sandy beaches and rocky coves make it an ideal location for all ages. Dolphins and seals are regular visitors, along with a wealth of sea birds. The occasional whale has been spotted close to shore. Enjoy local activities of golf, fishing, riding, sailing, canoeing, surfing, walking and cycling. Meander along the coast to the seaside village of Crovie or explore the myriad of pretty fishing villages along this Moray coast by local bus. Visit the numerous castles and distilleries on the renowned 'Whisky and Castle Trails', MacDuff aquarium, championship golf courses and town of Banff all within easy reach.

A warm welcome on arrival from owners and lovely food pack homemade cake, scones and bread. The cottage is a home from home with everything you could possibly need including supplies for dishwasher and washing machine. Lots of homely touches. Street is very narrow for parking but we have large SUV car and managed ok. Owners Chris and Barbara are exRead moretremely helpful and friendly and made our stay special. Hide

A spotless, well equipped and comfortable cottage which, being dog friendly, met our needs perfectly. The owners who are on site couldn't have been more accommodating. A great spot.

We would recommend the cottage - one of the best equipped weve stayed in. The beach and harbour are excellent and dog friendly. Our dog happily exhausted himself racing up and down the beach. Everyone we met was friendly and theres even a local bus service into Banff.
