The cottage was clean & tidy but very welcoming. Everything I could have needed was there. The location was perfect & waking up hearing the waves crashing just made it even more so.

We really enjoyed our stay in the peaceful village of Appledore with its stunning views over the estuary. Waders Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable for two people. Great views from the bathroom and back bedroom. I found the stairs quite steep.

We had a lovely week away at Waders Cottage. Very quiet but in a convenient location for pubs and restaurants. Nice walks around too. We bought a weekly ticket for Churchfields car park for just 20, well worth it. The cottage is well equipped and ideal for a couple. lovely estuary view from rear bedroom. And a pretty outdoor deck off the kitchen. WRead moree loved our time here and would stay again if planning a visit to Devon. Hide

Pleasant cottage in a good location, with views across the estuary from upstairs. Well equipped kitchen with a fabulous cooker and the under floor heating in the bathroom was a bonus. Nice little patio area with some great potted trees. Stairs are very steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Waders cottage is conveniently located to all the amenities in Appledore. A very short walk to the car park which was only 16 for the week. There are estuary views from the first floor of the cottage and a very small but handy patio off the kitchen. An ideal holiday for two.
