We had a lovely week away at Waders Cottage. Very quiet but in a convenient location for pubs and restaurants. Nice walks around too. We bought a weekly ticket for Churchfields car park for just 20, well worth it. The cottage is well equipped and ideal for a couple. lovely estuary view from rear bedroom. And a pretty outdoor deck off the kitchen. WRead moree loved our time here and would stay again if planning a visit to Devon. Hide

Pleasant cottage in a good location, with views across the estuary from upstairs. Well equipped kitchen with a fabulous cooker and the under floor heating in the bathroom was a bonus. Nice little patio area with some great potted trees. Stairs are very steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Waders cottage is conveniently located to all the amenities in Appledore. A very short walk to the car park which was only 16 for the week. There are estuary views from the first floor of the cottage and a very small but handy patio off the kitchen. An ideal holiday for two.

Lovely, central location. Easy walk to council car park - recommend buying ticket in advance but beware that it gets very busy at weekends. Good quality cafes in Appledore and the estuary is really beautiful. Recommend the organic farm shop, Marshfords, on the outskirts.
