This delightful character cottage is the ideal bolthole to explore both the coast and countryside of Cornwall, and is the perfect size for both couples and small families.

The cottage is situated just a short stroll from the quaint village centre, offering a selection of shops, local bus routes and a well-known skate park. Situated 1.5 miles from the surfing mecca of St Agnes, there is a host of cliff-top walks and wonderful ruins to meander in and out of, taking in the mining heritage of the area. Located just a couple of miles off the A30 means that the whole of this unique county is on your doorstep, from the popular surfing beaches littered along the north coast, to the quaint unspoilt south coast filled with hidden coves and small traditional fishing villages.

Step inside from the front garden and hang up your coats. Head through to the lounge area and cosy up on the comfy sofas in front of the open fire and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. An opening leads to the farmhouse-style kitchen/dining area, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Enjoy a lazy breakfast at the dining table whilst planning your day. Completing the downstairs is a separate WC. Upstairs you’ll find the spacious double and single bedrooms, both with hanging space. The contemporary family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

From the kitchen/diner, patio doors open onto the rear terrace with seating to dine alfresco with a BBQ on the go. The garden is completely enclosed and a suntrap for lazy summer days or warm evenings. Parking for one car is on the driveway and there is also roadside parking if required. The cottage is conveniently situated across from a park where your dog can be walked on a lead.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Just had an amazing stsy at Whatnot Cottage, was beautiful and clean, had everything needed for a self catering break away and a perfect bolt hole for getting around Cornwall. We visited St Agnes lots which is only 10 mins away by car, fabulous little village, unspoilt with lots of coastal walks. After a long journey to get there it was nice to finRead mored scones, clotted cream and jam on arrival in the kitchen, a lovely little touch. Hide
