Lovely cottage and very welcoming and helpful hosts in Martin and Jane. The cottage was very clean and well-equipped - we especially enjoyed the games room. The location is very quiet and peaceful (loved seeing the birds right outside the door) - just beware the narrow lanes, although other drivers were very courteous and made way without hesitatioRead moren. We visited many seaside towns and villages and enjoyed Beer, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and Exeter in particular. Hide

Lovely cottage in lovely location. Unfortunately we didnt get to meet Jane but Martin is a most welcoming and easy going host. A nice surprise was the games room which we made good use of. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent property. We've been twice now and will be booking again. Lovely owners live right next door and are friendly and helpful. Comfy, new , expensive mattress on the bed so a good night's sleep guaranteed. Plenty of parking and an excellent raised decking area, including a summer house. Total silence all of the time, and if you like watching Read morebirds, then bring your binoculars and a big bag of nuts. You wont be disappointed! Hide

Excellent cottage, well equipped and very comfortable with glorious views over the Devon countryside. The Summer House was a perfect place to sit for afternoon tea! Its location and narrow Devon lanes could make motoring a challenge for some, but well worth it!

Excellent little property surrounded by outstanding countryside, minutes away from Axminster. Martin, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful with very insightful recommendations of local restaurants. Look out for the wildlife visiting the feeders, including a woodpecker!

A beautiful cottage on one level for two people. The decor was lovely and it was very warm and cosy. We were made very welcome with a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge and a basket of treats on the kitchen table.
