Really charming cottage in a great rural location. The cottage has been beautifully developed and the views are sensational across the Somerset countryside. Owners were really friendly and accommodating and our dog Monty had a fabulous time in the lovely enclosed garden at the back. Will definitely stay again/recommend to a friend.

The cottage and rural location are perfect! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Just the right mix of modern facilities with original features, especially the inglenook fireplace with log burner for cosy evenings, and sunny conservatory & garden with lovely views. Local pub, The Monkton Inn, within easy walking distance (1Read more0-15 minutes) is friendly, with good selection of food and drinks. Also recommend Hestercombe Gardens, close (10 minutes by car). We had a lovely stay, the cottage is in a stunning location with fantastic views. It was clean and well equipped and was a fantastic base from which we were able to explore the beautiful Quantock hills. The tea supplies, fresh fruit and roaring fire which greeted us were a lovely gesture from the owners.

Superb cottage with friendly and helpful owners who were available if needed but let us get on with our time away. Extremely clean with a great open plan layout, the conservatory with views was stunning. Enclosed garden meant dogs were safe, and its nicely isolated for a quiet vacation. Local pub (Maypole) excellent food and good value. Definitely Read morerecommend for people who like to enjoy the countryside. Hide

The cottage was just as it read in the advert, it was clean & had everything you wanted for a good walking holiday. The thing it did not have unfortunately was the weather but the cottage owners could do nothing about that & after all we went the last week in Sept.!!

A lovely cottage in a great location. The garden was safe for the dogs and the views are amazing. The bathroom is a little on the small side which made it difficult to get in and out of the bath/shower. The WiFi is very slow.
