This cottage is in a very good location. It was lovely to be able to walk to Sheringham Park NT and the village pub. Other places are a very short drive away. However we were disappointed with the cottage overall. The furniture is shabby and dated, the curtains in the bedroom were dire and did not close properly. Excellent base location for visiting Cromer, Holt, Sherringham, Felbrigg and Blickling. The cottage itself could do with modernising and upgrading of decor, soft furnishings and furniture throughout the property. However we still found it to be a quaint and cosy cottage. To be honest I was very disapointed with the cottage, compared to the one I left behind. Seating was uncomfortable, and furniture drastically needed updating.

The cottage is old but is pretty and has good parking and an enclosed garden. However the furniture is mismatched and chairs old and not comfortable with a very small television, making it not cosy - the stairs are a challenge but manageable. We used it as a base only, we weren't inclined to spend much time there.

Cottage was clean but a bit basic. All cleaning material provided and ample dishes and cutlery. They were right about the stairs and we did not realise the toilet was down stairs which was a problem at night. Front room was a bit dark at night even with lights on. There was good parking and basic walks for the dog. Local pub was very pleasant. SettRead moreing of cottage was near to Holt and Cromer and Sheringham Park was only a mile away Hide

The cottage was ideal for the two of us with the equipment being more than adequate. There was a pleasant small garden to the rear which we used to sit in to eat.
