We had a short week in late spring and the weather was bright and sunny for some part of every day and we were able to enjoy morning and evening walks on the public footpaths. A perfect base for trips to Bury St Edmunds and the coast and supplies available locally at Hopton and Hillcrest. Highly recommended. Hide

The cottage was really perfect! We were warmly welcomed on arrival (helpfully having been told we could come in early). Although fairly close to the house we felt very private with our own area of garden and beautiful views beyond. Great location for Bressingham and Thetford Forest. We would happily book here again.

Our fortnight in this beautiful cottage flew by. We were met by the owners, Sue and Keith, two of the loveliest people you could wish to meet, who had left a generous welcome pack. The cottage, was immaculately clean and tastefully presented: the wifi worked faultlessly for browsing the internet. Set in a tranquil country location with beautiful viRead moreews across the fields, the cottage was still convenient for the coast, nature reserves, places of interest etc. We came away so relaxed.
