This spacious and stylish detached single storey property situated in one of North Devon’s most prestigious locations is a perfect holiday home that enjoys breathtaking views across Bideford Bay.

A sprawling coastal retreat, it is now part of our exclusive Joules Collection, so you can enjoy even more luxurious touches throughout the property, hand-picked by Joules and showcasing their iconic colourful signature style.

On the outskirts of popular Appledore, you will be a fifteen minute stroll from the quayside which is steeped in nautical history. Enjoy fishing trips, numerous pubs, restaurants, galleries and the Maritime Museum, or take a boat ride across to Instow. Westward Ho! is a popular seaside resort less than a mile away and has two miles of long sandy beach. It also gives you access to the National Trust cliff-tops for walkers. The market town of Bideford is a ten minute drive away and where you can catch the MS Oldenburg for a day trip to Lundy Island. Amongst many other delights in North Devon are The Big Sheep, Tapeley Park, Arlington Court and The Milky Way Adventure Park.

On entering this property, you will find yourself in the bright and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With fabulous views, ample seating, TV with full SKY package and DVD plus an iPod docking station, the spacious and welcoming lounge is a fantastic place to relax. The light and airy dining area is ideally situated, and you have a choice of breakfast bar or refectory style dining table. The elegant and stylish kitchen is equipped with everything you might need including twin ovens, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the utility room. Exploring further, there are five comfortable bedrooms, all with TV. The master suite, which is accessed via two steps, has a king bed, large walk-in wardrobe, views over the bay and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. There is one further king room  with en-suite shower room and WC, one double room and two twin rooms, one of which is accessed via a small step. You will also find a bathroom complete with shower and WC, and a shower room with WC.

Heading outside, you can relax at the end of an enjoyable day in the large enclosed tiered garden, which has a beautifully furnished patio area, making it ideal for dining al fresco. Off-road parking is available for four cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Mulberry certainly has the wow factor- large modern and very comfortable bungalow which suited our 3 generation family gathering it is very well equipped I was even able to baked my 6 year old grandson a birthday cake its a short walk into Appledore and close to the coastal path we had a really lovely time and would definitely recomend

A very spacious, comfy and quite luxurious house with large bedrooms (and TVs!) for everyone. Extremely well equipped and smart kitchen, utility room and bathrooms which were spotless when we arrived and the view of the sea is a bonus. Appledore and Instow are lovely (and very dog friendly) and the kids spent hours happily crabbing on the quay. WesRead moretward Ho very near. The garden is well kept and enclosed but a swingset, table tennis, bbq etc would be good additions. Hide

Fantastic stay in July. Cottage beautifully furnished and spacious enough for the 8 of us. Very comfy beds, huge, well-appointed kitchen. 4 kids ranging from 15y to 2 years old made the most of gorgeous garden. View from the lounge is stunning and the beach is less than 10 min drive away. Prosecco + sunsets from front garden every night. Appledore Read moreseafront 5 min in car or 20 min walk, not far.... fabulous bakery and some excellent restaurants. Excellent location. Good choice for large family getaway. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Outside facilities could be improved on (updated). We all enjoyed our stay at Mullberry.

Mulberry is a lovely home and very spacious. Has everything you need and beautiful decor. Appledore is lovely - about 15min walk downhill but has a big car park if you dont fancy the climb back up the hill. Nice little back streets behind the Main Street and good fish and chips

Easy walk into Appledore, only problem for some would be the uphill walk back! We were very pleased with this large well equipped property. It was ideal for our party size of six adults and two children.

We had a fab few days away during the Easter break. The holiday home was beautiful and offered plenty of space for four adults, three children and a well behaved medium dog. It was beautifully presented, well equipped with all we needed and a lovely cream tea welcome. We would definitely recommend 'Mulberry' for a family break away. Thank you.

Very well equipped and comfortable house, nice views - on clear days you can see Lundy Island. About 3/4 mile walk down to Appledore which has some shops and a couple of nice pubs, (uphill on the way back, so good for the calf muscles...)

Lovely stay in this very well equipped cottage. Good size bedrooms and communal rooms with space for all ten of us and our dog. Close to the beach and good shopping amenities nearby. It was a relaxing stay and a place we would love to go back.
