Excellent cottage to stay at great layout and good outside space for the dogs to relax in. Peaceful listening to the bird life whilst staring out at the river. Better still right next to a pub which served good food and beer

The Fishermans Retreat is in a super location on the river, Severn valley steam railway, a woodland park just up the hill and with a pub right next door. The cottage is comfortable with a great private outdoor space overlooking the river and ample parking. There is really no need to use the car during your stay. Just jump on the steam train which iRead mores an experience in itself. We visited the delightful Bridgnorth during our weekend stay. Hide

Met housekeeper Juilie who is friendly and helpful and there if needed. Enjoyed the stay which dogs also enjoyed. Two very nice dog friendly pubs The Ship next door and The Bulls Head in Chelmarsh with good food and dog treats. Nice views and walks beside the river severn and close to Severn Valley Railway with the station a few hundred yards away.
