A cluster of cottages offering a range of comfortable and unique accommodation. Each cottage has its own style and character which is enhanced by the beauty of its natural surroundings. Located in Shropshire they provide a peaceful and relaxing holiday base with the banks of the River Severn, ideal for keen anglers, riverside walks on your doorstep and further away marked trails for those wishing to explore. The Severn Valley Railway, which is dog friendly and great for children and steam train enthusiasts housing full sized locomotives, with the station home to the Museum of Village Life, housed within a vintage Post Office sorting carriage. Bridgnorth Station is just 20 minutes drive away, this is the starting point for the Severn Valley train ride.  An ideal place for all food lovers with many local farm shops, local dairies, vineyards and festivals throughout the year. Onsite is an 18th century country inn situated along the River Bank of Severn, open all year round serving lunches, evening meals and afternoon cream teas and is also dog friendly. A full English breakfast is also available (at additional cost) between 7.30am-9am, pre-booking essential.

The property is on approximately a ¾ mile beat of the River Severn, which is famed for challenging Barbel fishing (daily tickets for fishing available on site). This stylishly renovated cottage offers 4 bedrooms, on the first floor you will find 1 double with en-suite shower, bath and WC and 1 twin with en-suite wet room and WC. On the second floor there is 1 double and 1 twin with a wet room with WC together with a ground floor WC. Relax in the lounge after a day of exploring the area with exposed beams, wood burner, TV and DVD. In the well-equipped kitchen you will find a breakfast bar seating area and separate dining table, with TV, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

Outside there is an enclosed garden area with seating and BBQ available.

Beautiful setting for a lovely cottage. We visited as 3 generations and all enjoyed the setting and the lovely house. None of us wanted to go home. The pub next door does good food, and friendly staff. A great holiday with beautiful countryside and lovely walks.

We enjoyed our weekend break with family, The cottage's ambience was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by all. We dined out at the Ship Inn on several occasions, and were greatly impressed with not only the standard of food, combined with professionalism and work ethics of the staff, which added to a very enjoyable visit. Great experience from speaking to the owner a couple of days before holiday who mentioned things we might need, places to walk, nice pubs etc! House clean and as described. Lovely having the steam trains running and trip on them! Lots of events at the steam museum few minutes walk away. Great place. Kitchen area is great for seating & communal hub of house. We had a chinese delivered one night & sat drinking & playing games. On Sunday we went to The Ship inn for Sunday lunch which was good. The garden seating area looks good too unfortunately no trains running this weekend (which we knew) So will return sometime in better weather

Lovely cottage in quiet location with easy access to steam railway. Pub next door is nice if little pricey. Couple of shops in village under 1 Mile away and great Chinese and Indian takeaways that deliver, especially recommend Indian

We had a comfortable week in the cottage. Lovely setting, ideal for walking, we didnt need to use our cars at all. Great access to SVR at the top of the garden. The patio set at the top of the garden was ideal for catching the sun.,Watching birds and relaxing. The pub next door was friendly with great food.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a brilliant location! My family consisted of five adults, one child, two French bulldogs and a Cockapoo We spent four days over the new year here and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was lovely and warm, with plenty of room for us all to relax in.
