A cluster of cottages offering a range of comfortable and unique accommodation. Each cottage has its own style and character which is enhanced by the beauty of its natural surroundings. Located in Shropshire they provide a peaceful and relaxing holiday base with the banks of the River Severn, ideal for keen anglers, riverside walks on your doorstep and further way marked trails for those wishing to explore. The Severn Valley Railway, which is dog friendly, with the station home to the Museum of Village Life, housed within a vintage Post Office sorting carriage. An ideal place for all food lovers with many local farm shops, local dairies, vineyards and festivals throughout the year. Onsite is an 18th century country inn situated along the River Bank of Severn, open all year round serving lunches, evening meals and afternoon cream teas and is also dog friendly. A full English breakfast is also available (at additional cost) between 7.30am-9am, pre-booking essential.

Approximately ¾ mile beat of the River Severn, which is famed for challenging Barbel fishing daily tickets for fishing available on site. Security for fishing tackle and bait fridge is available.

Enjoying an elevated position with views of the valley at the front of the property with the added benefit of being able to watch the steam trains go by at the rear of the property. The lodge offers 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin together with a shower room with WC. The lounge has a TV and DVD with a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

Outside you will find enclosed raised decked area with seating. Amenities parking for 1 car.

The cottage had plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 dogs, especially with the verandah. Fantastic views of the river Severn and surrounding countryside. The cottage is within walking distance to the local pub, the local country park and riverside walks. Also the Severn Valley railway station is directly at the back of the cottage, giving great views Read moreof the steam/ diesel trains when they stop. The cottage is well equipped and clean. Hide

excellent lodge very comfortable and warm and spotless in a lovely setting great for walking fishing watching the trains or just chilling very helpful owners and the local pub has a nice menu with friendly staff, a very dog friendly holiday thanks
