We just had a short weekend break, the lodge was set in beautiful countryside overlooking the river Severn, we didn't need to go out in the car, as everything was on our door step, including stepping back in time with an old diesel train gala, which we took advantage of and took the train into Bridgenorth. The Ship Inn just a very short walk away fRead moreor a couple of pints and something to eat. We couldn't of chosen a better spot to escape to for the weekend. Hide

This is a lovely location and provides a relaxed stay. It is close to the Severn Valley Railway but also overlooks the River Severn. It is a great location for walking and bird watching. We loved it.

Dog friendly and secure outdoors area, lots of outdoor seating with views across the valley and of the Severn Valley Railway just behind, everything we needed but the TV was very small, dog friendly pub 2 minutes away, good reasonably priced drink and food not bad if you like chips and huge portions.

Lovely lodge in a fabulous location - everything you could need was provided. Owners were extremely helpful prior to and during our stay (thank you). Sitting on the balcony with a little drink and our "boys" (dogs) watching the river and the beautiful views, made for a perfect relaxing few days away. Would definitely love to return.
