Traditional detached stone barn situated within 35 acres of established farm and woodlands, remaining tranquil but still close to the resorts and beaches of neighbouring Pembrokeshire. A super base to relax and explore the beautiful coastline and countryside of West Wales.

This property enjoys a tranquil farmland location in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Ideally situated to enjoy both Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire; eleven miles to the south-east of the property, the historic town of Carmarthen is a lovely place to spend a day, wandering the streets of the old town, browsing the independent shops, and sampling the food in the many restaurants, pubs, and cafes. The town also has an interesting castle, and a museum, whilst there are many more fascinating attractions in the surrounding area including the Gwili Steam Railway, Kidwelly Castle, and the stunning Pembrokeshire coast which lies 17 miles away and offers a number of wonderful, wide sandy beaches such as those at Saundersfoot and Tenby.

Two stone steps lead to the front door of this attractive single-storey property, which opens onto the open-plan lounge/diner. In this welcoming room, guests will find a dining table seating four, as well as comfortable seating, and a TV/DVD. A door from this room leads through to the kitchen, which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The property has one ground floor bedroom, a pretty dual-aspect room with a double bed, dressing table, and bedside drawers. Finally, there is a spacious wet room with a shower and WC. Heading back into the lounge/diner you will find a further doorway to your left with a steep ladder style staircase allowing access to the second twin bedroom.

Outside, the property benefits from a private patio, with garden furniture, where guests can enjoy views across the farm. In addition to this, guests also have access to seven acres of woodland, a quiet retreat with winding pathways and several seating areas. There is off-road parking available. Guests should be aware that there is livestock on the farm.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is lovely, well-equipped and well-maintained. It is situated in a beautiful area, overlooking marvellous scenery. The owner Tim, is the perfect host and the "Welcome Pack" of wine, cakes and eggs was greatly appreciated. Fantastic accommodation with glorious views. Tim was a fantastic host, with good tips on where to visit and eat in the area. Thanks to Delyth for the cakes, wine and flowers on arrival. Fantastic stop Tim and Delyth made us very welcome with wine and cakes on arrival. The cottage is well equipped to a high standard. Chicken, Guinea Fowl and goats in the yard made the stay even more relaxing. on one light could be seen at night. Perfect for a relaxing getway

A delightful place with stunning views, waking up to all the farm animals, and birds. Although remote its a very good central location but you do need to drive and go out for the day and we visited some wonderful places. The owner and local people were very friendly and helpful. This is an ideal cottage for those who like a really peaceful place, well away from traffic noise and crowds. It is on a small farm where watching the animals and birds provided daily entertainment, particularly the small "herd" of guinea fowl. Our host was most welcoming and helpful. The property is bright, airy and spacious but cosy. Located in peaceful and idyllic countryside this, for us, was the perfect rural getaway.

This was a fantastic property. Clean and comfortable. The bed was the best I've ever slept in. Stunning views from the property. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Lovely fresh eggs in the fridge waiting for us, along with a bottle of wine and home made cakes. We will be returning.

We had a lovely week in this cottage. Tim was very helpful. It is well equipped with everything you need. Home made cakes were a lovely touch as were the flowers. The bed is fairly hard and would be greatly improved with a mattress topper, but it was ok. We would go there again.

Very nice cottage with lovely views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a nice countryside setting. We enjoyed chickens and wanted to take the Labrador home. The homemade cakes were scrumptious and the bottle of wine was a treat. Thank you.

Well equipped cottage in the middle of nowhere which was perfect for us. Tim was kind, friendly and welcoming with just the right amount of contact - there if you needed him but otherwise unobtrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed watching all the animals on the farm and bird watching from the comfort of our arm chairs.

Lovely cottage tucked away on a working small holding. We loved meeting Tim and his brilliant animals. Quiet, relaxing rural location but within easy reach of Tenby, Saundersfoot and other beautiful beaches.

This is a perfect spot to relax and recharge. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and situated in the middle of beautiful rolling hills with barely any other properties in sight. Tim is a wonderful host and always willing to help if needed.
