On entering this delightful and welcoming property, which the owners have lovingly restored and which retains many original features, you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting lounge. With exposed beams, stone floor, TV/DVD and a traditional wood burner, this is an ideal space to relax in at the end of the day. Moving into the bright and spacious kitchen/diner, you will find a charming dining area where you can dine in style, and the elegantly designed kitchen is fully equipped with Rayburn oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and TV. There is also a washing machine and dryer available. Exploring this beautiful farmhouse further, you will find three comfy bedrooms on the ground floor. There’s a king-size room with TV and en-suite shower room with WC, a king-size zip-and-link which has a wood burner, and which can be made into a twin room on request, and a super king-size room, which can also be made into a twin on request. Heading up to the first floor, you will find a cosy snug with TV/DVD, bean bags, and a choice of games and books. You will also find two more comfy bedrooms. There’s a twin bedroom and a king-size room with TV and an en-suite shower with WC. You will also find a wet room complete with hand held-shower over the bath, a separate shower and a WC.

The property benefits from a games room which includes two sofas, football table and a selection of garden and family games. Stepping outside, you can relax in the enclosed garden with its raised lawn area, garden furniture and BBQ.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

An excellent house with plenty of space for all the family.Very well appointed kitchen/dining room and bedrooms. Outside area for the children to fly their kites and kick a ball around. Added attraction of feeding the pigs. Very welcoming and pleasant hosts. Very close by car (7) mins to the beaches, especially in Camaes where there is also a very Read moregood fish and chip shop, but best to order in advance. Would recommend the house very highly. Hide

This cottage worked well for a large group. The outdoor kennel is no longer available and the owner said we should have been informed. The owner is enlarging the garden area and turning creating an outdoor games room which will add to the properties appeal

We had a warm welcome from Cath up at Cae Mawr and she had very kindly put away our online shopping . After explaining how everything worked we were left to explore. I loved the old cottage built early 1800 and the extension provided plenty of rooms and a huge kitchen. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked with everything we could need. Beautifully appointed cottage. Perfect for a family retreat . Large kitchen/diner meant everyone could be together. Small playroom ideal if you have young children. Lovely outdoor space for them too.

Owners were on hand whenever you needed them but otherwise you were left to get on with your holiday. We took a disabled guest and needed to hire equipment (bed, hoist, shower chair and ramps) and owners very happily took receipt of this previous to our arrival. Fantastic weekend in this showstopping cottage. Ticked every box for us. We were met by the owners on arrival who were lovely and showed us all we needed to know. Short drive to beautiful beaches. Will be returning very soon
