The reverse-level layout of this beautiful property means you get to enjoy the best of the view from the living space upstairs, with a comfortable bedroom to retreat to below at night.

The exposed brickwork on the lower side of this property gives it a stand out factor amongst the complex of three. With easy accessibility to the A30, you’re perfectly placed to explore plenty of the county’s best-loved towns and attractions including Truro, Cornwall’s only city, which is only a few miles away from the cottage. Venture to the surfing capital of Newquay for the multitude of sandy beaches, or to the idyllic seaside town of St Ives in the west. Alternatively, St Austell is a little further afield, home to the renowned Eden Project and St Austell Brewery as well as lots of amenities.

A reverse-level layout means that you enter this property on the ground floor and straight into the bedroom area. The property has one bedroom, which has a king-size zip-and-link bed with memory foam mattress, (which can be made up as a twin on request), en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs, the living space is light and airy, with the lounge/kitchen/diner in an open-plan layout. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and armchair, TV, DVD, wood burner and French doors leading out onto the decked area with a small table and chairs, the kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Outside the property benefits from a decked area with a table and chairs to enjoy the wonderful countryside views, and a private patio area, where there is garden furniture and a BBQ. There is also a large grassed area. There is a washing machine located in the pump house below the decking as well as a line for drying clothes. The cottage comes with ample off-road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely cottage in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The cottage is a little difficult to find, but is ideally located for visiting Truro, getting to the A30 and the fantastic dog friendly beach at Perranporth. Weve stayed here three times now and will almost certainly be staying again in the future.

The cottage was the perfect size for 2 people and a dog. The setting was beautiful and very peaceful. The location was very central and we were able to visit places in any direction with relatively short journey times.
