With stunning views and beautiful fixtures, you can live in luxury during your stay at this breath-taking property situated on the cliff tops above Whitsand Bay.

Walking down the scenic cliff-top path to access this property, its grandeur and phenomenal location soon become apparent. Far-reaching views across the ocean create a glorious panorama with beauty from every angle. Its location above the beach of Whitsand mean it’s in a prime spot for a day on the sand, whether that be soaking up the sun or something a little more adventurous. The property is a short drive away from Plymouth to the east, with plenty of restaurants, shops and leisure facilities to explore, or travel west to the picturesque town of Looe. Guests also have access to the swimming pool located at Whitsand Bay Holiday Park, at the top of the cliff, for a small additional charge.

Entering from the rear of the property, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, both of which are immaculately finished. There is then a shower room with WC. The focal point of this property comes from the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its awe-inspiring views and luxurious finishing touches. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa and beautiful chairs, a wood burner, a Smart TV/DVD/Blu-Ray, Bluetooth speaker and bi-folding doors out onto the decking and garden area. The dining table seats four, and is situated towards the centre of the room, making the most of the views out to sea whilst you eat your meal. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher.

The partially enclosed decking outside is a truly beautiful area from which to make the most of the scenery. It has plenty of seating, and there are also sunbeds to soak up the rays, as well as an outdoor shower for washing off the sand once you’ve returned up the path from a day on the beach. Also outside you will find a separate fridge/freezer and washing machine located in the shed outside along with a charcoal BBQ . Young children must be supervised due to the location of the property and the structure of the garden. There is roadside parking at the top of the cliff, however no direct vehicle access outside – the property is accessed on foot from the cliff path.

Fantastic views, very relaxing. The walk up and down the side of the cliff is a bit tough especially with luggage, but dont be put off by that. The beaches are truly gorgeous and not teaming with people, spectacular!

This is a lovely property to relax with the perfect view. Two bedrooms make it suitable for two couples or a family with older children. Not recommended for young children due to the cliff edge. We have loved a week in October despite the rain because it is just so relaxing to just sit and look outside!

We had the most amazing time at idleour, the location is perfect for long walks but we chilled out most of the time as the views are breathtaking. We will definitely use this property again. Lovely touches like the Nepresso coffee machines, super soft throws.. I could go on so a massive Thankyou to the owners.

Stunning location, lovely little chalet with amazing views and sounds of the sea. The property would definitely benefit from completed fencing at the front of the property, it is a great drop on a cliff edge and whilst we were all very careful, it left us feeling a little uneasy.

This property has the most stunning location I have ever stayed in, with an uninterrupted 180 degree view of the sea, which is beautiful. The downside is that it's a good distance down a steep path to lug all your bags, even worse coming back up. You need to be fairly fit to do this. The facilities and comfort inside are very good.

We had a wonderful week at Idleour. It is a beautiful chalet in a beautiful location. The accommodation was private, clean, very comfortable and with all the mod cons. The views are spectacular from the Chalet over looking the sea and beach. The telescope supplied was great for ship spotting, we were able to identify a number of naval ships which wRead moreas good fun. The area is not overrun with tourists so you have a sense of having almost all of it to yourself. Hide

Beautiful location, views to die for. Unfortunately it wasn't ideal for getting our daughter, who has special needs, up the hill each morning. But that was our fault, we were warned when booking the holiday that the access was difficult. You need to be fit and if not by the end of your holiday you will be. Well worth the effort, absolutely loved itRead more. The owners are very lucky to own such a beautifully piece of Cornwall. Hide

Brilliant location. Quiet part of Cornwall with all the lovely scenery. Could happily sit outside at 10 degrees as the veranda has the sun all day. The walk to the car is steep. We got shopping delivered which worked very well.

Stunning location Great place to totally chill out You have to park at the top of the hill and walk down to the property but thats part of the reason this place is a stunning location and so wow Not ideal for young children due to the cliff top position

The place is brilliant, excellent views and amazing location. Just a steep hill which makes it a tiny bit difficult for the more unfit people but it is worth it 100%. The wine and cookies and note on the board was such a nice touch and just makes you feel welcome. I will definitely be staying again in the future.
