Approached via a quiet country lane, this Gothic style cottage is delightful retaining much original charm. The cottage is attached to the owner's property with a shared garden which offers far reaching views over fields and has a BBQ hut to enjoy.

The property is located in a traditional Norfolk village with a pub and children's play park within walking distance. The property, set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, is a great place from which to explore the surrounding area, Sandringham and the Queen’s estate is a short drive along with many other grand houses including Houghton Hall. Bircham Windmill along with Castle Rising also popular. The North Norfolk coast is close with Wells Next the Sea and Blakeney Point. Fakenham and King's Lynn offer shops and restaurants and good pubs can be found in the surrounding villages.

Leisure facilities: Zumba & Circuit classes conveniently located in the village, running & cycling routes directly from the door. Beauty treatments are also available at the cottage or at nearby salon with arrangement with the owner.

Entering this charming character property, guest will immediately feel at home, A spacious lounge/dining area with comfortable leather sofas, TV/DVD, cosy with the woodburner, perfect for those chilly winter evenings (1st basket of logs included), dining area with table and chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, there is a separate freezer in the garage, washing machine and microwave. Stairs leading to the first floor and two double bedrooms, the spacious master bedroom is light and airy with gothic style windows, the second double bedroom has a double bed with a bunk above. The family bathroom comprises of bath with shower over, wash hand basin and WC.

Outside: shared garden with garden furniture and BBQ hut, perfect to enjoy the summer evenings. There is also a lockable wooden bike storage building and the front of the cottage has off road parking.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Amazing home from home property, very handy for getting around Norfolk. The owners Julie and Graham were very friendly and helpful. The property was warm and cozy and contained anything that you would ever need and more besides. We will definitely be staying again.

We have two young children and this property was perfect for us. It was clean and safe for the children with stair gates, a high chair and travel cot provided. The owners were so helpful and were on hand if we needed anything. It was a really pleasant stay and we will definitely be back. It felt like a home away from home.

The cottage was in a good location for us. Able to walk the dog on a lead around the lanes. Plenty of foot path walks across fields if you required them. We travelled to many of the Norfolk beaches all were dog friendly. Pleasant evenings sitting on decking looking over the field watching birds and rabbit's. Kitchen well equipped. We had a fantastic long weekend for our sons first birthday made even more enjoyable by the comfort of the cottage and the extremely kind hospitality of the owners. We felt completely at home and will certainly be returning there for a longer stay. I imagine on a regular basis too!

Lovely cottage we had a great time! Very child friendly - my nearly 4 and 2.5 yr old loved the books, toy box, dvd collection and trampoline! I loved the secure stair gates and comfy sofas! Was lovely and warm, comfortable, secure and well equipped we will definitely look to stay again. Thank Julie and Graham!
