Five-star barn conversion property sleeping up to eight guests, situated in the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, just seven miles from beaches and six miles from the historic town of Carmarthen.

This property enjoys a quiet location in the Carmarthenshire countryside, just six miles from the county town Carmarthen. The town has a good range of shops and eateries, and is also home to a number of historic sites, including the atmospheric ruined castle. To the south of the property lies the Carmarthenshire coastline, where there is a choice of lovely beaches, such as those at Pembrey, LLanstefan, and Ferryside. For those who have an interest in the literary heritage of the area, a trip to The Dylan Thomas Boathouse in Laugharne is not to be missed. This quaint cottage is where the poet lived for the last four years of his life and the view from the windows was immortalised in his poem Over Sir John’s Hill. There is a welcoming tearoom here, as well as preserved front parlour, and an interesting exhibition of the poet’s life.

On arrival at this five-star property, guests will first come to the spacious, light-filled kitchen/diner. This room offers a warm welcome and is furnished with a large dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen area with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, meanwhile, can be found in the separate utility room. Doors lead from the kitchen/diner through to the lounge, another generously-sized room with a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable sofa seating, patio doors leading out to the garden, a TV, and DVD. (There are steps down to the lounge area from the kitchen/diner). The property has four bedrooms, one of which is located on the ground-floor, a double room which enjoys direct access to the patio through the room’s French windows. There is also a shower room with WC on the ground floor, whilst the main bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC can be found on the first floor, where the three remaining bedrooms are located. The first of these is a stylish double room benefitting from its own TV and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is another double, whilst the third bedroom is a restful twin room.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio garden which not only offers garden furniture and a BBQ, but is also where guests will find the wonderfully relaxing hot tub, from where they can enjoy splendid views over the surrounding fields. .
