Set on a working farm close to the village of Tarporley within the Cheshire countryside, you can explore the nearby historical sites and picturesque villages or simply enjoy the peaceful ambience of your surroundings. This is one of two properties at this location located within a 30 minute drive from the popular city of Chester which has a wealth of history and attractions and is an ideal base for visitors to the area.  This area is great for horse riders, walkers, cyclists and all outdoor enthusiasts.

Stepping into the cottage, which is attached to the owner's cottage, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area awaits. The focal point of the room is the cosy wood burner which is perfect for those romantic nights in snuggled up in front of the fire on the comfy sofas.  The area also has a flat screen TV and dining table if you decide to do a spot of cooking.  The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave.

Upstairs is the beautiful bedroom with super king-size bed which can be made into twins on request, the room is bright and airy and offers views of the Cheshire countryside and horses in the fields across the farmland.  The bathroom has a shower over bath, wash basin and WC.

Outside there are shared grounds with various places to sit, which are perfect for alfresco dining and have access to over 14 acres of farmland.  The play area is a large enclosed field, perfect for outdoor games or letting the dogs have a run around.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Would highly recommend this holiday cottage, the owner was lovely and her family, including the dogs. There was a cake on arrival and the holiday home was lovely and cosy. You were allowed to go see the horses (which we did morning and night) in the stables and there was a walk around the fields.

A fantastic little cottage in a beautiful location. We were greeted with a home made lemon drizzle cake, tea, coffee and milk - very welcome after a journey on the M6! A great place to take dogs as there was a whole, secure field for them to run around in (they loved it!). There was also a farm walk for them. A wonderful location, we were able to work the dog around the 14 acres around the cottage. Owners and staff at the Stables very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. A very nice lemon cake was there to greet us on arrival. The Cottage ideal for 2 people with a dog. Looking forward to our next visit
