This modern style chalet bungalow has extensive views from the Brendon hills across to sea with Exmoor in the distance. A charming setting within landscaped grounds. The perfect retreat for relaxing and exploring majestic Exmoor, the Somerset coast and beyond.  A short walk takes you to Blue Anchor Bay with its 2 mile dog friendly beach, promenade with a pub serving food, cafés, indoor swimming pool and historic steam railway station which are open all year round. Coastal and countryside walks direct from the property, make this an excellent location for walkers, fishermen and dog owners. The Quantock Hills are a short drive, as is the medieval village of Dunster, with its castle, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and wooded Crown Estate great for walking and biking. Lynmouth is also worth a visit with its historic cliff lift and spectacular Valley of the Rocks. Alternatively, relax in the garden or on the patio which catches the sunshine into the evening, or enjoy al fresco dining and watch the sun set. 

Step into the property and you will find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a fully equipped kitchen area with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. You will also find a utility area with fridge/freezer and space for storing coats and boots. Relax on the sofa's, take in the view or watch TV on the mounted Smart TV/DVD. In the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner you will also find the bathroom with over three quarter bath and WC. Head through to the two king-size bedrooms where you will find them both equipped with TV/DVD and one offering a compact en-suite shower room with WC.

Head out of the patio doors onto the spacious illuminated patio area equipped with seating, overlooking the enclosed garden with views over the countryside and towards the sea. You will also find additional small sheltered raised patio area with seating and lounging chairs.

We wanted to visit Minehead area, but not stay in a busy place. Chose Chapel Cleeve and couldn't have been happier. The accommodation is wonderful, so clean and extremely well equipped. The garden is brilliant and our dog absolutely loved it. It's a fantastic spot for sight seeing around Exmoor and the Quantocks. Had an absolutely great week, utterRead morely peaceful, the only noises you hear are birds and the odd tractor or the steam train if you're lucky. Really would recommend it. Hide

Unfortunately I did not get to go on this holiday as sadly my sisters dog was diagnosed with cancer 6 weeks prior to us going and then sadly passed away the week before (the holiday was for me, my sister and her dog). I was not able to change dates nor get any money back for cancellation so instead my two daughters went but only for the bank holidaRead morey weekend not the whole week. They said the property was clean and well equipped and in a nice location. Hide

Seaview is perfectly positioned and beautifully peaceful - looking out from the different levels of the garden is a total delight, and the sunsets were incredible. There was so much wildlife to appreciate too, from rabbits to green woodpeckers. The combined kitchen/dining/living area is nicely furnished and cosy, with plenty of cutlery, plates, panRead mores, etc, and there was a very good fridge-freezer. We only used the main (en suite) bedroom, and found the bed to be very comfortable. Hide

Lovely cosy chalet with an amazing view. Fabulous enclosed garden and just a short walk from Blue Anchor beach and railway station. Coastal walks to Minehead or Watchet and very dog friendly. We love this little gem of a place and are looking forward to a return visit.

Truly Dog Friendly! Seaview is a superb chalet. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and lounge area. The kitchen was really well equipped, all the pots, pans, knives etc one could want. Impressive. The garden is really special and totally enclosed. I am always a bit nervous of this. But our border collie was safe and loved exploring the different levels. Seaview is a lovely compact holiday cottage with wonderful views and a lovely enclosed garden for the dog. There is everything you need for your stay and only a one minute drive to the seafront. The scones, cream & jam were a lovely welcome on arrival.

What a fabulous place to stay, perfect for our needs (as two couples, plus a dog) to be able to walk the coastline from Minehead to Bridgwater. Not only did we have an excellent view of the sea, but the beds were comfortable, and the sofas - which recline! - were ideal for our aching limbs at the end of the day. Beautiful location great if you like piece and quiet , walking on the beach accommodation is lovely clean and well equipped and great scones and milk in fridge on arrival, tescos even deliver if you want shopping as Minehead closes big store little on in Watchet.

Great cottage in a dog safe garden with lovely views and parking at front of cottage for two cars. Lovely walks on the beach, then back to the warm cosy cottage. Be aware no local shops but only a short drive to MInehead for large supermarkets. Had a really relaxing comfortable stay and thank you to Mrs Mitchell for all her help.

Spent a lovely week in a beautiful setting. A nice big garden for the dog and all enclosed so we did not have to worry. A nice Devon Cream Tea waiting for us when we arrived, this was just perfect with a cup of tea after travelling. Very nice accommodation. Spotless inside, with ample parking and great garden/view outside. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely think about staying again. Our dog enjoyed his first holiday there too.

Wonderful views from the cottage (yes, a sea view)! Very well equipped, looked to have been recently repainted inside. Has a pretty enclosed garden, would be a fabulous spot in the summer. Lovely view and an interesting garden. Nice and quiet area and friendly neighbours. Lots of places to see with the beach a short distance down the hill. The property is surrounded by similar small buildings and the inside has some very clever space saving ideas.
