Arrived at the lodge to find it absolutely spotless with a lovely lemon drizzle cake waiting for us. The lodge was beautifully decorated and the layout was perfect, with everything you could need. Location is fantastic being close to all the amenities and places of interest and great walks. We had super walks at Delamere Forest, Little Budworth andRead more Cotebrook. The Fox and Barrel is located at Cotebrook and serves fabulous food and service. Catherine and Nick at the lodge were very welcoming. Hide

Lodge was a perfect setting for a weekend getaway. While there is not too much in walking distance to spend time away from day to day life and be surrounded by countryside was beautiful. Local village and pubs within short drive.

Second time staying here and just as lovely this time round. Spotlessly clean, cosy, very well-appointed. Great location- peaceful and relaxing but easy to get to Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and lots of other interesting places. Catherine is so helpful and makes a superb lemon drizzle cake! Thoroughly recommend.

The cottage was furnished to a very high standard and had a very well equipped kitchen. It felt very homely and we would stay there again.

Have just arrived home from spending a lovely week at Woodmans Lodge in Cheshire. This is a delightful lodge which has had a great deal of thought put into it for guests with limited mobility. We holiday with friends and it is great to have all the bedrooms with en suite for privacy and my husband, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, had plenty Read moreof room to manoeuvre his wheelchair around the accommodation. We appreciated the fresh flowers and the bottle of fresh milk when we arrived. In spite of the horrible weather we enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The logs of wood which we burned in the stove created a cosy atmospere inside.

Cottage is absolutely spot on, well equipped for self catering and extremely comfortable. The owners were on hand if needed and were lovely and really helpful. The bedrooms are great and the en suite bathrooms are ideal especially if there were two or three couples staying there! Had a fantastic time and hope to visit again someday.

We had a wonderful time staying in this cottage and were only 20 minutes away from any of the attractions and the town. With the enclosed garden the kids were safe and happy running round and our dog was also safe to play outside. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and would defiantly recommend a stay there.
