Managed to get this property at the last minute as our planned Welsh cottage went into lockdown. We were only 2 people in a cottage for at least 6+ people, so we were rattling around a bit, but it was extremely well equipped for a family group. I particularly liked the downstairs bathroom that was suitable for the disabled. Lovely garden (though thRead moree weather put paid to actually using it unfortunately). Great location close to Wells and Wookey Hole. Hide

A very well situated and comfortable property. Given the current health crises it is difficult to look at things in the normal way. Plenty of hand sanitiser etc a good thing and request to use own towels by owners sensible but this does impact on perception of holiday stay. The fact we hope to revisit in happier times says it all.

We really enjoyed our stay at the barn. We were there over Christmas and even though the weather wasnt good we found plenty to do and loved Wells. The barn itself was very comfortable and well equipped. We have no hesitation in recommending it and the area.

In many years of renting holiday properties in the UK this is up there with the very best. A great location for both relaxing and exploring Somerset. Great facilities and comfort. The ground floor bed room is a joy for those of a certain age who do not fancy stairs. The surrounds with its apple orchard are lovely. We hope to return.

The cottage is in a delightful and secluded location but within easy reach of many places of interest including the lovely city of Wells. It was well equipped with everything one would need and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The layout with a downstairs twin bedroom with an en suite wet room together with a separate downstairRead mores WC was ideal for our party. The cottage has been tastefully renovated with modern amenities whilst retaining its old world charm. Hide

We had a fantastic time away in this property, from the moment we pulled up to the bridge it just looked stunning! then walking through the front door we saw how beautiful and clean it was. Mr Laird is very nice and helpful. Nothing is a problem. The barn is well equipped. Location was perfect, close to everything we visited; Glastonbury Tor, BurnhRead moream, watchet. Wells up the road is a beautiful town! You need 2 whole days here. 1 to visit the bishops palace & gardens & another for the cathedral Hide
