Stunning 16th century detached manor house, built in 1563, believed to be the oldest house in Grange-Over-Sands with private driveway and beautiful grounds. The perfect family retreat for family holidays and celebrations in the Lake District.

This magnificent house is located in Grange-Over-Sands which was once a small fishing village that evolved into a popular seaside resort after the introduction of the railway lines. Situated in the south of the Lake District it offers pubs, tearooms and shops. There are many popular towns to visit such as Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal and Keswick. With a wealth of attractions in the area from Beatrix Potter, Lakeland tours to the amazing South Lakes Animal Park which offers close encounters with popular wildlife from around the globe it makes the perfect family holiday.

Golden wedding anniversary with family. Ideal with short walk into Grange in itself lovely to stroll around. We used the train to get across to Arnside and walked over the Knott and back along the shore. Good walking from Grange over to Cartmel. Staying at Rockcragg there's no need to use the car

Absolutely fantastic property. Bundles of room, excellently equipped throughout and everything set out and explained fully. All large comfortable bedrooms and also pristine gardens. Bottom of hill are shops and pubs right on your doorstep. Could not fault this property. Probably the best we have ever stayed in. It is a credit to the owners.

Wow is how everyone in our party described this property as they walked through the door. Everything we wanted was there and instructions for all the equipment were to hand. If you want somewhere special this is the place.
