You will have direct access to the south-facing patio area to the rear of the property with garden furniture and a BBQ but access is allowed into the extended lawn garden beyond this (please note that there is an unfenced pond in the garden). This is a lovely, cosy cottage with superb views up the valley. It is well equipped and has just the right amount of space for a couple. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and had supplied a wonderful tray of goodies- wine, beer, cake and sweets. There were also some nice touches such as towels, hand soap and hand cream which we had not encRead moreountered before in other cottages. Whilst the cottage is about 20 miles from the coast it is a great base to explore the beautiful countryside. Hide

It is a very nice cottage, with lovely views, a sort of cottage that we would buy ourselves. Dorset is a lovely part of the country. The owners were very nice and helpful. It was very clean with flowers from the garden. A lot NT properties you can visit.

Clean, very comfortable bed (Important) good TV/radio. Location grand. View from patio overlooking fields & woodland. everything you need for self catering. However owner most helpful, in finding local information from supermarkets to good Pubs, where the food was reasonably priced and good value for money

This cottage is ideal for a couple to enjoy and explore Dorset. The owners who live next door on the property are very friendly and helpful if need be. All home comforts provided. There is is an excellent gastropub only a short walk away, best to book at busy times. There is a super new fossil museum on the coast at Kimmeridge and a first class cafRead moree/restuarant opposite, both not to be missed. The nearby town of Blandford Forum offers offers many good shops and services. Hide

As first time visitors to Dorset this lovely well equipped cottage was an ideal base for touring. Hosts were friendly and enthusiastic with tips and recommendations which we found really useful
