Its rural location lends itself to being a tranquil retreat for those who love the countryside, but also want to be close to other amenities and attractions. The seaside town of Bude is only a few miles away, and the beaches of Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven are within close driving distance.

The ground floor is made up of two lounge areas and an open-plan kitchen/diner. The first lounge is warm and welcoming, with sofas, armchairs and a TV/DVD. Onto the kitchen/diner, the long room represents a typical farmhouse style, featuring a large dining table to seat up to six people and a TV. At the other side of the room is the kitchen, which comprises of a Rayburn, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and hot drinks machine. The second lounge has more seating with garden views, enjoying unrivalled scenery over the countryside. Upstairs there are three bedrooms; the first has a double bed and an en-suite shower room with WC, the second has a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request), while the third room has twin zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a king-size on request). There is also a large family bathroom on this floor, with bath, separate walk-in shower and WC.

The property is situated within 50 acres of private ground, which means outside there’s plenty of space for whatever you choose to do. The main garden area of the cottage has a patio, garden furniture, a BBQ, and a hot tub overlooking the beautiful countryside hills. There is also ample off-road parking. The utility area can be found in the outhouse, which has a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Fantastic place easy access to anywhere beaches are great i recommend Polzeath. Annie and Steve are great hosts lovely people.

This place is every think it says on the tin and more Stephen and Annie Are the owners Stephen in particular is a wealth of knowledge if you are stuck on what to do or want some advice as to where to go Stephen is Regularly around. Beautiful cottage set in farmland with stunning views. Our hosts Steve and Annie made us so welcome. The cottage was a delight to stay in - well laid out and beautifully decorated. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the fields and woods and listening to the birds was sheer pleasure. We definitely plan to return.

The Cottage was even more than we expected, it was spotless and had everything we needed.The quality of everything was very high .The hot tub overlooking the wonderful view was the icing on the cake, this was all possible from the owners Steve and Annie who were the perfect hosts.Will be back !
